Property maintenance worker stabs resident who allowed dog to defecate in yard


(Scroll down for video) A resident of an apartment complex was stabbed after allegedly allowing his dog to defecate on the property, according to police in Florida.

West Palm Beach police said that they have arrested 33-year-old Ricardo Garcia Sanchez, after being accused of stabbing the resident who lived at the West Palm Lane Apartments complex.

Sanchez has been charged with charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail, and his bail has been set at $50,000.

According to the police investigation, Sanchez worked as a property maintenance worker at the West Palm Lane Apartments complex, which is located on South Sequoia Drive.

Sanchez became angry with one of the residents, who allegedly allowed his dog to defecate on the property without cleaning up after the animals.

Sanchez confronted the resident about the issue with the dog, and he pulled out a knife. Sanchez then started swinging the knife near the dog owner, who suffered cuts to two fingers.

Stephen Caplan was taken to hospital for treatment.

During questioning, Sanchez admitted to confronting the victim about the dog issue, saying that the manager and numerous residents complained about dog feces being left on the property.

Sanchez denied stabbing the victim.
