Woman posts ‘Rape Me’ Craigslist ad with photo of former employee and her 5-year-old daughter

A woman called police after some men sent her graphic and scary text messages while others drove slowly by her house as if they were looking for something.

Dennis and Kelli Samples of Medford, Oregon, were afraid for the safety of their children.

Police soon learned that someone posted an ad to Craigslist, using explicit language, the family's address, phone number and a photo of Kelli and their 5-year-old daughter, asking people to rape them.

The husband and wife who run an adult care home facility, soon learned that the woman behind the vicious Craigslist ad was a former employee who was fired from their facility and this was done as an act of revenge.

Police arrested 28-year-old Sarah Marie King over the incident.

King pleaded guilty in Jackson County Circuit Court to menacing and recklessly endangering another person, both misdemeanors.

Judge Lorenzo Mejia sentenced King to 10 days in jail, 104 hours of community service and 18 months of bench probation.

Jackson County Deputy District Attorney Zori Cook said she hopes legislators will pass a law that would allow for harsher punishment for online harassment cases.
